Wedelia Bustier Midi Dress

I LOVE this dress - the look, the comfort, the ease. Fabric is amazing quality (was a bit apprehensive that it looked quite shiny and therefore might feel a bit thin/ cheap in reality but given the reviews I decided to risk it and I was not disappointed!). Feels sooo comfortable and soft and super flattering as you can adjust the corset bodice to fit you perfectly. I also LOVE that I don’t need to wear a bra with this. It’s effortless and beautiful.

I got the mauve color and it comes off as sort of shiny in daylight, which makes it appear overly dressy for the cut of the dress, just feels like a contradiction. The slit is high and the dress is floaty so you can see the inside of the dress when you move, but there are visible unfinished seams in the in inside of the dress and the inside is not the same texture so it just makes it look cheap. Also, if you have any sort of chest, the bustier really just gives more milkmaid than anything else. Just was not the vibe I was going for. Materials and construction just do not justify the price on this one.

I found this brand after Google searching for a semi formal wedding guest dress. This one stood out as being fair price and the style wasn't basic. I ordered this dress in mauve and it arrived quickly to San Francisco.

I had a question about the dress and emailed customer support on a Friday, not really expecting any *actual* support. To my surprise, I got a fairly quick response. They answered my question so I didn’t bother responding back. Come Monday, someone followed up to make sure everything was sorted out. I really value that in a brand.

As for the dress, I ordered XL (5’2” ~166 pounds). It was a bit long for me but overall it fit well except for the chest. I have DD cups and while I wasn’t spilling out, the chest was smaller than what is normally comfortable.
