Halcyon 3D Flower Appliqué Midi Dress

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one.

I purchased a beautiful dress from ASTR The Label during their 30% sale. I already own the exact same dress in another color, so I felt confident ordering a different size based on my previous purchase oof the a dress cut in the same pattern last year and purchased from Macy’s where I found out about this brand. Unfortunately, the bust was cut much smaller in the size S than the M, making the dress unwearable.

There was still one size M left in stock, so I immediately contacted customer service asking for a straight size exchange, not a refund. The dress was unworn, and I simply wanted the correct size.

Their response was a flat no because the item was marked “Final Sale.” No flexibility, no one-time courtesy, no attempt to keep a paying customer happy.

A return policy is one thing. Refusing to exchange an unworn item for the exact same dress in another size, when the size is still available, is another. That isn’t customer-focused service; it’s hiding behind policy.

If you’re ordering, make absolutely sure the size is perfect because if it isn’t, you’re on your own. I won’t be shopping with this brand again or at least not from their site. Macy’s would never do that.
